Tour Description!

Discover the best of Iceland’s Westfjords on this scenic group tour from the Isafjordur cruise terminal, combining striking natural beauty, local culture, and history.

Travel through dramatic fjords and mountain landscapes to reach the stunning Dynjandi Waterfall, known as the Jewel of the Westfjords. This 100-meter cascade flows over a series of smaller falls, creating a spectacular view. Follow the gentle walking path for photos and enjoy light refreshments after your visit.

Continue to the charming seaside village of Þingeyri, beautifully situated on a split of land in Dýrafjörður. Here, you can taste freshly made Belgian waffles at a lovely café in a restored 1915 Norwegian house, browse local handicrafts, and explore the small Viking area with its replica ship.

The Blacksmith Museum, showcasing old boat engines and tools, is also worth a visit. Toilet facilities are available in the village.

The final stop is the tranquil Skrúður Botanical Garden at Núp, founded in 1909 and honored with the International Carlo Scarpa Award. This historic garden features diverse plant life set against a stunning fjord backdrop and reflects harmony between nature and Icelandic resilience.

Throughout the journey, enjoy the region’s unspoiled scenery and watch for local wildlife — from seabirds and seals to the occasional whale sighting.
