The waterfall emerges on the shore of the Dynjandisvogur creek of Arnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, after which it is named. At 30km long, Arnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is one of the longest fjords in Iceland and is famed in folklore for being home to sea monters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nicknamed the &#8220;Pearl of the Westfjords&#8221;, Dynjandi is without a doubt one of the most spectacular waterfalls of Iceland. Actually a series of seven waterfalls, cascading like a bridal veil from the edge of a cliff, Dynjandi doesn&#8217;t let visitors leave without memories. The river originates of from Ne\u00f0ri Eyjavatn lake, one of many on the Gl\u00e1ma moors, which were actually considered to be a glacier until the end of the 19th century.\u00a0<\/p>    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text -->        <\/div>\n                    <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column tb-column col4-2 tb_9nsd965 last\">\n                    <!-- module text -->\n<div  class=\"module module-text tb_bf62061   \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n        <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n        <p>Visitors can enjoy the view from the bottom part of the waterfall, which has recently been made accessible to all visitors, including those with reduced mobility. Visitors who wish can also follow the more strenuous path to the top tier of Dynjandi. We highly recommend not to attempt the hike up without sturdy shoes and to watch your steps at all times as the spray from the waterfall often makes the path slippery. Toilets are available near the parking lot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We continue our way by driving back to \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur through the stunning landscapes of D\u00fdrafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, \u00d6nundarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and Skutulsfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Geologically considered to be the oldest of Iceland, this region is rich is wildlife, folklore and centuries-long traditions. The waterfall emerges on the shore of the Dynjandisvogur creek of Arnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, after which it is named. At 30km long, Arnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is one of the longest fjords in Iceland and is famed in folklore for being home to sea monters.\u00a0<\/p> <p>Nicknamed the \"Pearl of the Westfjords\", Dynjandi is without a doubt one of the most spectacular waterfalls of Iceland. Actually a series of seven waterfalls, cascading like a bridal veil from the edge of a cliff, Dynjandi doesn't let visitors leave without memories. The river originates of from Ne\u00f0ri Eyjavatn lake, one of many on the Gl\u00e1ma moors, which were actually considered to be a glacier until the end of the 19th century.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Visitors can enjoy the view from the bottom part of the waterfall, which has recently been made accessible to all visitors, including those with reduced mobility. Visitors who wish can also follow the more strenuous path to the top tier of Dynjandi. We highly recommend not to attempt the hike up without sturdy shoes and to watch your steps at all times as the spray from the waterfall often makes the path slippery. Toilets are available near the parking lot.\u00a0<\/p> <p>We continue our way by driving back to \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur through the stunning landscapes of D\u00fdrafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, \u00d6nundarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and Skutulsfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Geologically considered to be the oldest of Iceland, this region is rich is wildlife, folklore and centuries-long traditions.
