Dimmuborgir area is characterized by large hollow cell- or chamber-like structures formed around bubbles of vapor. Despite being too warm to bathe in after the Krafla eruptions. The hot springs in N\u00e1maskar\u00f0 area are not like most normal hot springs, they\u2019re sulphurous mud springs called solfataras and steam springs called fumaroles, where the water and mud are boiling on the surface.
